One Year with Covid-19
edited by Christian Ewert & Lea Heyne
How has democracy changed in one year with Covid-19?
I had the great opportunity to collaborate with many different scholars from all over the world and think about this question.
Lea Heyne from Lisbon University and I have edited an open access e-book, collecting thoughts and reflections from 26 international scientists in four languages. The book is aimed at a general audience, and includes brief contributions on the social and political implications of Covid-19, as well as discussions on how the pandemic has affected individual countries.
I’m very happy with how this book has turned out. It was an amazing project, and serving as the editor was a great privilege to me.
The book is published by the association DemocracyNet, and available for free on DemocracyNet’s homepage.
You can also buy a hard copy from book stores and online retailers. Revenues, if any, will be used to donate copies of the book to public libraries.
